Job Description
WHY JOIN AKIN?
At Akin, we believe strong families build strong communities, and that meaningful change starts with connection, collaboration, and care.
As a WISe Clinical Supervisor, you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact—not only on the children and families we serve, but also on the professionals you lead and support. You'll join a team that values compassion, collaboration, continuous learning, and the unique strengths each person brings to their work.
If you're looking for a leadership opportunity where you can use your clinical expertise, help others grow, and contribute to meaningful outcomes for families across Washington State, we encourage you to apply!
POSITION SUMMARY:
Are you a compassionate, experienced clinical leader who is passionate about supporting children, youth, and families? Do you enjoy mentoring clinicians, building strong teams, and helping others grow in their professional practice?
Akin is seeking two experienced and compassionate WISe Clinical Supervisors to provide clinical leadership and support to our WISe teams across Washington State. We have two openings with distinct supervisory responsibilities: one position will oversee and provide supervision to both WISe Therapists and Care Coordinators, while the second position will oversee and supervise WISe Therapists only. In either role, you'll mentor and develop staff, foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, and ensure high-quality, family-centered services that align with WISe model standards. Working closely with the WISe Program Director, you'll help strengthen clinical practices, support program success, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, youth, and families.
This position has access to protected healthcare information (PHI) and confidential identifiable information (CII), both paper and electronic, as necessary to perform job responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Clinical Supervision & Therapist Development
- Provide regular individual and group clinical supervision to all WISe therapists in alignment with licensure requirements and WISe model standards
- Use reflective, strengths-based supervision to support therapist growth, wellbeing, and quality care delivery
- Support clinical staff in reaching professional development goals and accruing licensure hours
- Conduct performance evaluations and deliver timely, constructive feedback; manage performance concerns through coaching and corrective action as needed
- Partner with the WISe Director on therapist hiring, onboarding, and team development

Clinical Program Oversight & Quality Assurance
- Oversee clinical programming quality on both a scheduled and emergent basis
- Ensure therapy services reflect best practices and WISe model fidelity through regular case consultation, record reviews, and documentation audits
- Consult with clinical staff on complex assessment and diagnostic questions
- Champion youth and family voice and choice across care plans and service delivery
WISe Program Fidelity, Enrollment & Utilization
- Ensure the Vancouver WISe program meets fidelity, service intensity, enrollment, and utilization benchmarks per model standards and state contract requirements
- Track program metrics, identify gaps or trends, and escalate concerns to the WISe Program Director
- Drive continuous improvement when benchmarks are at risk, implementing workflow adjustments and corrective actions
- Contribute to program evaluation and reporting as directed
Performance Monitoring & Operations
- Monitor team performance against productivity standards, fidelity measures, and contract requirements
- Reinforce SOPs and program standards across the team, ensuring consistent, compliant service delivery
- Maintain accurate records and reporting in accordance with contract requirements

- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams with diverse identities and backgrounds, including implementing inclusive practices across recruitment, supervision, and service delivery
