Yes Position Purpose This position will support The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice in executing a portfolio of health service research and quality improvement projects. Tasks include project management, meeting facilitation, data collection, management and analysis, research event coordination, reporting, and project development/assisting in preparing grant proposals. Serves as an integral team member in engaging, facilitating, and successfully implementing multiple complex projects. In collaboration with project leaders, implement the entire life cycle of project activities with a high degree of independence and responsibility for ensuring the timely completion of project activities. This project will involve conducting interviews with adolescents and their caregivers related to adolescent mental health crises and home safety, in addition to other qualitative and quantitative project work focused on children with chronic health conditions. Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp Bachelors plus 6 or more years' experience or combination of education and experience Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Demonstrated ability to manage a complex research project with minimal supervision. Project management experience and proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and web-based applications. Ability to work directly with high-level national stakeholders to advance research objectives. Familiarity with research methodologies and statistical data analysis. Proven ability to apply critical thinking and sound judgment to address open-ended problems. Superior verbal communication and writing skills. Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities. Commitment to diversity and serving the needs of a diverse population. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree plus 3-5 years of experience Experience working with data in Excel and other statistical programming software, including preparing presentation-quality graphs and tables. Experience with qualitative methodology. Experience working with adolescents. Experience preparing professional-quality PowerPoint presentations. Experience writing technical reports, grant reports, and applications. Experience conducting literature searches. Not an essential function Percentage Of Time 20% Manages operational processes for the entire life cycle of research and evaluation activities, including project formation, regulatory, protocol development and implementation, participant tracking and communication, data collection, data analysis, and reporting. Assists with developing project proposals, reports, presentations, and publications. Percentage Of Time 50% Supports and conducts quantitative and qualitative data collection and analyses to complete research deliverables. Percentage Of Time 10% Executes various project management tasks, including developing project plans and timelines, tracking deliverables, and initiating follow-up communications to ensure the timely completion of project deliverables. Assists in organizing and planning the upcoming research conference logistics and leads a committee coordinating marketing and promotion. Percentage Of Time 10% Performs support functions for the project leaders, including, but not limited to, coordinating meetings, taking and disseminating minutes, developing presentations, and conducting literature reviews. Percentage Of Time 10% Using a high level of judgment, independently coordinates and communicates with external and internal partners to complete project activities. Responds effectively to requests from senior-level stakeholders to advance the project.
