No remote, hybrid, or part-time candidates will be considered
Start Date: ASAP (pending successful completion of screenings)
We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join our team in Lake Mary, FL. This role is ideal for candidates with strong medical billing experience, specifically handling front-end claim rejections and Durable Medical Equipment (DME) billing.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Medical Billing experience
• Experience working front-end claim rejections
• Insurance verification and claims processing experience
• Knowledge of HIPAA and PHI compliance standards
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• Previous DME (Durable Medical Equipment) experience
Key Responsibilities:
• Process and manage medical billing claims accurately and timely
• Correct and resubmit front-end and back-end rejected claims
• Verify insurance coverage and communicate patient co-pay responsibilities
• Submit electronic and paper claims to payers
• Ensure all required documentation is collected prior to claim submission
• Follow up on outstanding claims, invoices, and payment collections
• Maintain accurate client and billing information in the system
• Support customer service inquiries related to billing and payments
• Stay current on reimbursement guidelines and regulatory requirements
