Medical Director - Urgent Care near Portland, OR - 50% Clinical & Admin

Job Description

Our esteemed Urgent Care clinic, recognized for its commitment to teamwork, innovation, and inclusivity, is seeking a Medical Director to join our value-based care team in the Portland, Oregon/Vancouver, WA area. The ideal candidate will balance their time between administrative duties and clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities of the Medical Director:

Lead the establishment of best practice standards by developing clinical policies, procedures, regulations, and operational methods.
Set quality metrics and initiate programs aimed at process improvement.
Contribute to the creation of patient education materials and conduct seminars.
Collaborate with the Regional President and operational teams to implement optimal operational practices across the network.
Oversee the quality of care and address all clinical caregiver-related issues within the designated region.
Work across regions to share resources, drive improvement initiatives, and enhance clinical, financial, operational, and customer service outcomes.

Clinical Environment:

Clinics operate Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 8 PM and on weekends from 9 AM to 5 PM.
On-site support includes Radiologic Technologists and Medical Assistants who assist with vital signs, medication reviews, splint applications, and the administration of medications and vaccines.
Facilities are newly built and feature a small lab, portable X-ray, EKG, and EPIC EMR systems.
Accredited by the Urgent Care Association.
Monthly bonuses based on patient visit metrics achieved per shift.
