Anesthesiologist - Responsibilities

• The Anesthesiologist provides clinical anesthesiology services and patient care pre and post op.
• The Anesthesiologist monitors patients while in surgery.
• Care for patients in ICU, short stay unit, acute pain management, and emergency airway management.
• The Anesthesiologist reviews medical files and lab results.
• Informing patients about risks associated with anesthesia.

Anesthesiologist - Requirements

• Must have a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited college.
• Current license to practice medicine in the state of New York.
• Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA).
• Currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalency.

L&D - 3 - Paper, except for pre/post-op on computer - 7a to 5p 5 days a week - 30 Day Emergency Privileging time frame - Supervision and own cases, MOR and surgery centers only. If supervising ratio is 1:3 - Car rental/mileage $250/weekly - Lodging/housing $121/daily $25k completion bonus
