We are partnering with a full service Investment Bank with all the key capabilities including, M&A Advisory, Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets and Leverage Finance. They have a lean team with a focus on Real Estate Investment Banking. The team operates as more of a boutique service inside of a large organization. Not to mention they go toe-to-toe with the leading Bulge Bracket Banks in their space. Salary: $250,000 +Bonus
Location: New York, NY (On Site) Responsibilities:
• Lead transaction execution
• Be a team leader
• Support firm growth initiatives in the group
• Source deals and possibly bring on deals as you grow in the organization
• Origination activities, pitches, decks and build long term industry relationships
• Work hand in hand with the Senior RE IB MDs/Directors
• Continourly grow market intel in RE deals
• Advise on Buy/Sell side M&A activities, structure deals , engage in the due diligence process
• Financial Models in all deal types, M&A/financing
• mentorship to junior Bankers (Associates & Analysts)
• Analyze market data and understand current market trends based on real time date
• Enthusiastic about the RE IB Industry, being an enthusiast in any sub sector will help you stand out as a candidate
• Real Estate M&A experience is a must with a track record of dealsRequirements:
• BA/BS with a major in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field
• MBA is nice to have but not needed
• Anywhere between 6 yrs – 8 yrs of relevant experience, only Banking or combination of Investment Banking and Corporate Advisory
• Needs to have a Real Estate industry background for the VP level
• Real Estate M&A Exp is a must from buy-side & sell side
• Clear communication skills, both written/verbal
• Licenses preferred are Series 7, 79 & 63
• Open to travel as needed by clients
• Must have a track record of leading small teams (4-6 junior Bankers)
• Minimum 5 yrs of Investment Banking experience is ideal
