This position offers an exceptional opportunity to deliver comprehensive cardiac care in a collegial, patient-centered environment while enjoying a coastal lifestyle with an outstanding quality of life.Position OverviewSchedule: Monday–Thursday (8 AM–5 PM); Friday (8 AM–12 PM)Responsibilities: Primarily outpatient clinical role with some inpatient coverageAdministrative Time: 0.5 day per weekPatient Contact Hours: 36 per week (4 hours administrative)Call: 1:4 STEMI call rotation (supported by partner institutions and collaborative coverage); 1:6 rotation for general cardiology callEMR: CernerPatient Volume & ProfileDaily Volume: 18–22 patients per dayPopulation: Adults aged 55+ with a wide range of cardiovascular conditionsReferral Base: Strong primary care network supporting high patient volumes and a continuously expanding marketScope of PracticeFull-spectrum interventional and general cardiology servicesConsultative model – hospitalists manage admissionsAdvanced diagnostics including:Echocardiography (TTE/TEE)Stress testing (nuclear and treadmill)Cardiac CT and MRI256-slice CT scanner for advanced imagingCollaboration with device clinic and dedicated cardiac techniciansIntegrated partnership with Interventional Radiology for cross-referrals and procedural supportFacilities & TechnologyCath Labs: Two fully equipped cardiac catheterization roomsOperating Rooms: 10 state-of-the-art surgical suitesCardiac Monitoring Unit: 14 dedicated beds for post-procedure and acute monitoringHybrid Room Development: Plans underway for advanced minimally invasive cardiovascular proceduresRobotic Surgery: Da Vinci robotic system available for advanced cardiac and vascular interventionsAdditional Capabilities: DSA, MRI (3T & 1.5T), in-office ultrasound, and comprehensive wound care with hyperbaric therapyTeam EnvironmentJoin a collaborative team of interventional, invasive, and non-invasive cardiologists, along with experienced nurse practitioners and cardiac technicians.
