Responsibilities: Print Technician:

• Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble printing hardware components.
• Interpret schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose mechanical or electronic faults.
• Conduct equipment repairs in accordance with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications and safety standards.
• Assist with installation, configuration, and testing of new printing equipment in diverse environments.
• Maintain detailed service records, including repair logs and parts used, ensuring accurate documentation for future reference.
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve computer networking issues affecting printer connectivity.
• Provide training and technical support to end-users on printer operation and troubleshooting procedures.
• Stay current with industry advancements in printing technology and OEM updates to enhance service quality.

Requirements: Print Technician:

• Proven experience as a service technician specializing in printer repair or related field service roles.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking protocols, and IT systems relevant to printing environments.
• Proficiency in software troubleshooting related to printer drivers, firmware updates, and network configurations.
• Familiarity with schematics, mechanical components, and the use of hand tools for equipment repair.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, OEM guidelines, and electronic schematics accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to diagnostics and repairs.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members across diverse settings.
• Knowledge of computer networking concepts such as TCP/IP protocols is highly desirable.
