Customer Service Representative – DoorDepot.com

Job Summary:

Join our team at DoorDepot.com as a Customer Service Representative. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional to support our commercial door, frame, and hardware operations.

Title: Customer Service Associate

Job Type: Full-Time

Location : In-office, West Monroe, LA 71292

Pay / Salary : $41,600 per year ($20.00 / hr)

Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm EST

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Phone support (heavy emphasis) – receiving inbound calls, making outbound warm sales calls, and providing live product assistance
• Email support (heavy emphasis) – responding promptly and professionally to customer inquiries
• Text and live chat messaging support – offering real-time service through multiple communication platforms
• Providing accurate product information, solutions, and technical support related to doors, frames, and hardware
• Giving updates on order status, including tracking and delivery details
• Booking freight shipments via shipping platform.
• Processing and submitting customer orders internally and to our suppliers
• Taking and processing customer payments securely
• Addressing and resolving customer issues and concerns
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and timely follow-up

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
• Experience in a manufacturing or construction-related customer service role preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to measure accurately and perform basic math
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
• Consistent, reliable attendance

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience reading architectural drawings is a bonus

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
• Use of headset and computer for most of the workday
