Electrical EngineerThe Electrical Engineer serves as a technical resource for electrical power, controls, and automation systems at RoyOMartin’s Chopin manufacturing facility. This experienced-level role provides technical leadership in troubleshooting, system reliability, electrical project design and execution, and the continued development of plant electrical systems and personnel. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Serve as an electrical subject matter expert and technical resource to departments throughout the facilityAnalyze and troubleshoot complex electrical power and control system issuesDesign, coordinate, and commission electrical and controls projectsDevelop and manage electrical project schedules, budgets, contractors, and capital projectsSupport and maintain Allen-Bradley PLCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), servo systems, HMIs, and industrial networksMaintain Rockwell AOP, EDS, and firmware filesMaintain RoyOMartin electrical specifications, drawings, and technical documentationWork with the electrical department to develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs for electrical equipmentMentor, train, and provide technical assistance to plant electriciansMaintain plant arc flash studies and documentation and support compliance with NFPA 70E requirementsPerform or support short circuit studies and protective device coordinationSupport process instrumentation, including pressure, temperature, and flow measurement systemsWork with vendors and technical partners to evaluate and implement new technologiesJob ExperienceBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related discipline preferredFive or more years of electrical, controls, or automation experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferredStrong working knowledge of AC and DC power and control circuits and low-voltage motor control systemsExperience with three-phase 15kV and 480V switchgearExperience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, VFDs, servo systems, and HMI programmingExperience with PLC networking and industrial network switchesWorking knowledge of NFPA 70E arc flash requirementsExperience with AutoCAD and electrical drawingsKnowledge of short circuit studies and protective device coordinationExperience with process instrumentation, including pressure, temperature, and flow measurementExperience managing electrical projects, contractors, and commissioning activitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office productsExperience with Maximo and QlikView is a plusBehavioral SkillsUpholds RoyOMartin's values of Respect, Integrity, Commitment, Honesty, Excellence, and StewardshipProactive and positive approach to safetyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to motivate, influence, mentor, and develop othersExcellent interpersonal and teamwork skillsThoroughness and strong attention to detailAbility to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple projectsHigh sense of urgency and responsiveness to operational needsCreates and maintains positive working relationshipsDemonstrates professionalism and a high level of emotional intelligenceBenefitsHealthcare - Legacy Health & Wellness and Legacy PharmacyWellness ProgramFlexible Spending AccountAdditional InsurancePaid Time OffRetirementChaplaincy ServicesEducationAbout RoyOMartinAt RoyOMartin, people are our number-one asset.
