Travel RN – Interventional Radiology

Location

Thornton, Colorado

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | On-call required (weeknights 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM and 24-hour weekend call, approximately 7–9 shifts per month)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Interventional Radiology setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Perform and assist with procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, LVO, FNA, midline and PICC line placement, kyphoplasty, and PE thrombectomy
• Administer conscious sedation and provide critical care support during interventional procedures
• Manage vascular access needs for patients across the unit
• Participate in on-call rotation covering weeknights and weekends as scheduled
• Collaborate closely with Imaging departments and interdisciplinary team members to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of current, acute care Interventional Radiology RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Ability to manage conscious sedation and critical care situations independently

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Strong vascular access skills, including PICC line and midline placement experience
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong critical thinking and patient care skills
