Job Title

Travel RN – Emergency Room (Night Shift)

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 27-bed Emergency Department with patient ratios of 4–6:1
• Perform and assist with procedures including RSI, sepsis interventions, stroke protocol with tPA administration, and central line placement
• Manage care of psychiatric patients and coordinate transfers to other facilities in accordance with EMTALA guidelines
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, staff RNs, and medics during night shift operations
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Fulfill weekend shift requirements as scheduled within a four-week scheduling period (Friday or Saturday nights)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2–3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Completion of 2–3 prior travel nursing assignments
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR or comparable electronic medical records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in high-acuity, fast-paced, high-volume Emergency Departments
• Comfort managing patient ratios of 5:1
• Additional certifications such as ENPC, NRP, or NIH Stroke Scale
