Sales Manager

Job Purpose:To develop and execute strategic sales plans, manage a team of sales professionals, and achieve revenue goals. This role involves coaching and mentoring sales staff, managing the sales pipeline, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and adherence to company procedures.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning and Execution:Work with Sales Leadership to develop and execute plans to build a consistent revenue model from online events, phone sales, live events, and in-person consultations.Ensure the sales plans meet or exceed company revenue targets.Monitor and track sales metrics and reports within Salesforce, summarizing for weekly deep dive with Sales Leadership.Team Development:Develop a team of sales professionals with detailed product knowledge, exceptional client service skills, and adherence to processes and procedures.Coach a team of sales professionals on sales process techniques and grow revenue.Participate in the planning and execution of continuing education for the sales team.Setting and tracking sales targets for the teamMonitoring sales calls and providing feedback to individual team members.Monitoring and analyzing sales metrics to improve performanceSuggesting and implementing improvements to the sales administration processPipeline Management:Work with sales team members to effectively manage lead pipeline and meet sales goals.Coordinate with internal teams to distribute leads from multiple sources.Client Service and Collaboration:Partner with internal teams to ensure client documentation and sales proposals are accurate and consistent with company procedures.Collaborate with the Client Advocacy team to resolve customer complaints.Performance and Goals:Identify strongly with our Company’s core values.Consistently reach and exceed revenue goals.Ensure punctuality and good attendance.Competencies:IntegrityActs as a role model for ethical behavior.Resolves complex ethical dilemmas.Provides guidance on ethical issues to colleagues and teams.Communication / CollaborationCommunicates complex ideas clearly and persuasively.Leads collaborative efforts across teams.Manages difficult conversations with tact and diplomacy.Critical Thinking / Problem SolvingLeads problem-solving initiatives and guides teams.Develops and implements innovative solutions to complex problems.Mentors others in advanced problem-solving techniques.Conflict ResolutionManages significant conflicts within and across teams.Develops and implements conflict resolution processes.Coaches others on effective conflict management.Developing Others / EmpowermentLeads efforts to develop and empower team members.Creates development plans and tracks progress.Recognizes and rewards contributions and achievements.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.5-7 years of sales management experience with a proven track record of achieving aggressive revenue goals.Experience working with Salesforce and pipeline management.Ability to read and interpret sales reports, analyze data, and connect metrics to sales strategy.Proficiency with G Suite (including Gmail, Slides, Docs, and Sheets).Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Self-motivated independent thinker who likes to learn fast.Ability to prioritize and complete work in a timely manner with attention to detail and accuracy.Preferred Qualifications:Additional certifications or coursework related to sales management or business development.Performance Metrics:Revenue Targets: Achievement of company revenue targets.Sales Team Development: Growth and performance improvement of the sales team.Pipeline Management: Effective management and distribution of sales leads.Client Satisfaction: Measured by client feedback and resolution of customer complaints.Anderson Business Advisors has been awarded the Top Places to Work honor by the Las Vegas Business Review Journal 5 years in a row!Anderson Business Advisors is an award-winning workplace - voted Top Places to Work in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 by the Las Vegas Business Review Journal, as well as Intuit's Firm of the Future award in 2020.
