Shot Peen Operator

We are looking for a detail-oriented Shot Peen Operator to join our West Babylon facility. In this role, you will use specialized equipment to process critical aircraft parts, strengthening metals to ensure maximum reliability in the skies.

Responsibilities

• Precision Processing: Follow route card instructions, blueprints, and specifications to shot peen various aircraft components accurately.

• Quality Assurance: Inspect parts visually and dimensionally for defects, keeping processes audit-ready and aligned with strict customer and OEM standards.

• Safety First: Maintain safe operations using required protective gear (safety glasses, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, gloves) in a controlled setting.

• Process Documentation: Accurately record measurements, process logs, recorder charts, and traveler documents.

• Team Collaboration: Assist with experimental setups, move components between processing areas safely, and communicate smoothly with supervisors and peers.
