Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg

• Provide comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care to patients
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for coordinated patient care
• Document patient information using the Meditech system
• Utilize communication boards to maintain a patient satisfaction rate of 72%

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg

• Current RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience in Medical-Surgical care, including handling respiratory and renal diseases, GI illnesses, telemetry, CVCs, and indwelling catheters
