Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

Position Summary Join a busy cardiology/electrophysiology practice with a dynamic collaborative care team. Under the supervision of a physician the PA will provide care to a wide variety of cardiac patients. The position will offer an opportunity to work to full scope of practice within the specialty area. Responsibilities Provide direct clinical care to patients and consult and refer to other health care professionals as indicated. Recommend and explain appropriate diagnostic test and treatment. Instruct and educate patients and family members as needed. Fully document all aspects of patient care and assist with the completion of all required documentation. Assist in clinical instruction and supervision of medical and allied health students. Encourage and ensure good working relationships with all members of team.
