Quality Technician Details: Contract to Hire position $25.00 / annually First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 04:30pm) Perform quality control inspections on metal parts using various measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, CMM and gauges to ensure product conformity Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issues Develop and implement quality control procedures and work instructions Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve overall product quality Perform regular audits of production processes to identify areas for improvement Quality Technician Qualifications: Associate's or bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred Minimum of 3 years of hands-on quality engineering or technician experience in metal parts manufacturing Knowledge of quality control tools and techniques, including statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing Proficiency in using various measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges Knowledge in CMM operation and programming - Not mandatory Experience with IATF 16949 and other relevant quality standards and regulations Applicant may be subject to a background check Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment *A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
