QC Specialist

The main purpose of the QC Specialist position is to provide support to the Quality Control department through various job functions. Location: Texas, Irving - Onsite Responsibilities & Duties: Receiving, Quarantining and Releasing Products Chemical bulk receipt processing,inspectionand release. Device bulk receipt processing,inspectionand release. Maintain Quarantine Areas. Calibration and Maintenance Maintain calibration and maintenance schedules. Schedule calibration and maintenance services. Monitor environmental conditions throughout location. Quality Events and Document Control Perform investigations (Deviations, NCMRs, CAPAs, SCARs). Initiate Change Controls. Quality review of documents. File and organization of various documentation when assigned. Support functions of QC Inspectors andassistwhen requested. Qualifications Education: Associates/Bachelor’sdegree in a Science related field or relevant pharmaceutical experience. Experience: Minimum one (1) year experience in Quality Controlenvironment. Proven decision making andproblem solvingskills; applies judgment. Detail oriented isa must. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)required; Syspro/MasterControlan asset.
