ICQA Specialist

Description

The primary responsibility of a Specialist is to help monitor inventory activities of the warehouse, reporting any abnormalities. Must be able to work a schedule performing eight plus hours per day which could include overtime, weekends, and holidays when required. Prior experience with 3PL, Retail Distribution, and Reserve Logistics/E-commerce experience is a plus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Conduct cycle counts and audits (condition & count).

2. Run inventory control processes according to written SOP's.

3. Ensure inventory variances are researched and resolved in a timely manner, allowing fulfillment of outbound orders.

4. Use handheld scanning device to scan barcodes on products.

5. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.

6. Discard or reject materials not meeting specifications.

7. Collaborate with operations on ways to improve processes or products.

8. Recommend necessary actions, based on inspection results.

9. Maintain test documentation or inspection records.

10. Clean and organized work area.


11. Maintain safe work environment.

12. Utilize Material Handling Equipment (MHE) for cycle counting and auditing of products within racking areas.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

1. GED/High School Diploma and/or prior experience helpful.

2. Ability to follow and comprehend instructions from leadership.

3. Possesses effective written and verbal communications skills.

4. Possesses effective reading comprehension skills.

5. Ability to comprehend simple instructions.

6. Ability to multitask and handle multiple issues at the same time without stress.

7. Ability to stand, walk, and use hands continuously during and up to 10-12-hour shift.

8. Good hand and eye coordination required.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
