Role Summary: We are looking for a Trailer Mechanic to work under the direction of the Shop Manager. Other duties and special projects as assigned by management.

What You Will Do:

• Chassis/ Tank repairs
• Tank Repairs
• Welding (Tig & Mig on Aluminum, Carbon, and Stainless Steel) preferred, not required
• 90 Day Inspections
• Tank Trailer Maintenance
• Brakes
• Repair ABS Systems
• FHWA Inspections
• Be on call to fix units
• Light travel in Houston area for repairs
• Coordinate repairs with other departments.
• Make cost estimates on Chassis repair for customers
• Monitor and adhere to inventory management system.
• Adhere to current programs and policies to ensure safety and environmental regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• HM183 Certified, preferred, not required
• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered.
• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
• Position requires frequent standing, bending and walking
• Must be able to withstand weather conditions
• Equipped with basic tools
• Willing to work in an open-air workshop
• Tank Trailer repair experience preferred
• Basic MIG, TIG welding experience preferred
