Pharmacy Operations Manager (Manager Patient Services)

As Manager of Patient Services, you’ll lead a team of Specialty Liaisons working
directly in hospital-based specialty clinics. You’ll support day-to-day
operations, coach performance, and make sure best practices are consistently
delivered for patients and partners.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Specialty Liaisons in specialty clinics
- Drive a high-quality patient experience while meeting service, growth, and
performance goals
* Support onboarding, training, performance feedback, and professional
development
* Partner closely with clinics, pharmacies, and internal Shields teams to keep
operations running smoothly
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, efficiency, and patient outcomes
- Build strong relationships with clinic and health system leaders
- Ensure coverage, accountability, and consistent use of best practices
- Share updates and insights with leadership and collaborate on growth
initiatives
* Proven people management experience, ideally in pharmacy or healthcare

Education & Experience
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required with a minimum of 2
years supervisory/management experience preferred
* 5 years working in a healthcare or pharmacy environment with direct patient
and clinician contact required
* National Certification as a CPhT (or equivalent) and prior experience as a
licensed pharmacy technician would be optimal in this role
* Experience working within a retail, hospital or provider type setting
communicating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
(preferably in an outpatient or medical clinic setting) is a plus.
Job Salary: An employee in this position can expect a salary rate between $70,000 and
$95,000 plus bonus pursuant to the terms of any bonus plan if applicable. The
actual salary will depend on experience, seniority, geographic location, and
other factors permitted by law
