Process Engineer

Job Description

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for a Process Engineer in the Springhill, Tennessee area. The engineer will be responsible for launching multiple projects. The engineer will be responsible to follow-up on material information on what is coming into the Bodyshop, ensuring that all materials are matching the products & materials. They will be working in Teamcenter & their operations team to match the physical materials & applying engineering knowledge for temporary and plant work orders. This individual will also be working with the issue resolution team to be a helping hand on launching programs, you will be going through all issues, what changes are being made, & how they are effecting the builds – you think will be coordinating and communicating all of the issues with the correct teams. This team is looking for someone who has worked on plant floors before and has the capability to go out onto the plant floor and make sure the changes they are requesting are happening in real time.

% Breakdown:

75% office work

25% being on the floor and going through parts

$35/hr to $39/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in engineering

- 3+ years of experience in material operations in an automotive manufacturing setting

- Strong with MS office – excel for reporting and data analysis

- Experience with teamcenter & CAD

- Experience with issue resolution in manufacturing - Experience in bodyshop area

- Launch and execution experience
