PhlebotomistDuration: 13 weeks Location: Scottsdale, AZ Must be covering (Tempe, Client 85281 and Phoenix, Client 85016) Shift Time: DAYS - 8hr; Monday - Friday 8 AM -5 PMUnique Skills:Personable with excellent patient interaction skills.Accepts feedback and implements direction from leadership.Promotes teamwork and collaborates effectively with colleagues.Roles & Responsibilities:Perform blood draws (phlebotomy).Administer vaccines.Conduct point-of-care testing.Room patients and obtain vital signs.Provide basic patient care.Assist with medical tasks and clinical procedures.Collaborate with providers and care teams to achieve positive patient outcomes.Required Qualifications:Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program.OR completed Medical Assistant training through any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces.OR hold an active or previously active Medical Assistant certification from an accredited organization and have completed a Medical Assistant training program.Accepted Medical Assistant Certifications:AClientA – American Medical Certification Association.AMT – American Medical Technologists.AAMA – American Association of Medical Assistants.NHA – National Healthcareer Association.NCCT – National Center for Competency Testing.Parking:Free self-parking is available at all three locations.The Tempe location has a parking garage with validated parking.
