Job Description Job Description Field Service Technician: Industrial Combustion & Burner Systems Do you like the idea of getting hands-on with the systems that keep industrial plants running, the burners, boilers, and combustion equipment that power everything from steel mills to food processing plants? Do you like the challenge of troubleshooting a system until you find exactly what's off, then tuning it back to peak performance? Our field service techs work on industrial combustion systems: burners, air heaters, thermal and catalytic oxidizers, and the equipment that keeps process heat running safely and efficiently for plants nationwide. You'll troubleshoot and tune combustion systems on-site, working closely with our engineering team to solve problems and keep our customers' equipment operating the way it should. Skills/Experience you need: Electrical troubleshooting experience is a must, since these systems run on precise electrical controls and safety circuits. 3 to 5 years of field service experience will serve you well here. HVAC or industrial burner experience is helpful, and if you've got it, you'll pick this up fast. Good mechanical skills and the ability to read a schematic matter just as much as any certification. If you have that foundation, there's a good chance we can train you on the rest.
