Role: The Systems & Data Analyst II is responsible for supporting, enhancing, and optimizing the Credit Union's business applications, reporting platforms, data solutions, and system integrations. This position serves as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and vendors by analyzing business and technical requirements, supporting enterprise applications, developing reporting solutions, and delivering data-driven insights that improve operational efficiency, member service, and organizational performance.  Must be a resident of Arizona.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily and monthly operations logs; verify completion of scheduled jobs and
• Support, administer, and optimize business-critical applications, including core banking, digital banking, lending, collections, document management, workflow automation, and other integrated business systems.  
• Monitor daily operations, scheduled jobs, automated workflows, interfaces, integrations, and system processes to ensure successful and efficient operation.  
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, system, database, integration, and operational issues while coordinating corrective actions with internal teams and third-party vendors.  
• Support system upgrades, enhancements, implementations, maintenance activities, APIs, integrations, and software releases, including testing, validation, and deployment activities.  
• Analyze business requirements, system functionality, and operational processes to identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and enhanced member service.  
• Conduct impact analysis, gap analysis, and solution evaluations for system enhancements, projects, and technology initiatives.  
• Serve as the primary owner for assigned business applications, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, operational requirements, and long-term technology strategy. 
• Evaluate system architecture, integrations, and technology solutions and provide recommendations to improve scalability, reliability, security, and performance. 
• Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, operational procedures, workflows, integrations, testing activities, and support processes. 
• Collaborate with business units to understand reporting and analytical needs and develop meaningful reports, dashboards, visualizations, and business intelligence solutions.  
• Analyze operational, financial, member, and system data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.  
• Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, KPIs, automated reports, and data visualizations that support operational and strategic decision-making.  
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, data extracts, automated processes, interfaces, and data files for internal users and third-party vendors.  
• Assist in the development and maintenance of data governance standards, reporting methodologies, data quality controls, and business intelligence best practices. 
• Lead moderately complex system enhancement, implementation, integration, and reporting projects from requirements gathering through deployment and post-implementation support. 
• Coordinate project activities across business units, vendors, and technology teams to ensure project objectives, timelines, and deliverables are achieved. 
• Participate in audit, compliance, business continuity, disaster recovery, and risk management activities related to supported systems and data platforms. 
• Present analytical findings, reports, and recommendations to stakeholders through reports, dashboards, presentations, and visual analytics. 

Schedule: 

• Monday - Friday: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
• Occasional evenings and weekends may be required to accommodate system updates.
• Remote work is available after 90 days (Hybrid).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 
Experience: Five (5) or more years of similar or related experience 
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field 

Other Skills:  

• Demonstrated progressively responsible experience in systems analysis, data analysis, business intelligence, application support, database administration, reporting, system integrations, or related information technology functions.  
• Strong understanding of financial institution operations, core banking systems, business applications, and supporting technologies.  
• Experience with data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, and data visualization tools, including Power BI, Jaspersoft, IBM Db2 SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and similar technologies.  
• Working knowledge of database administration, data warehousing, reporting platforms, APIs, system integrations, and business intelligence solutions. 
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects, influence business and technology decisions, and provide recommendations that impact operational efficiency and organizational performance. 
• Must possess strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.  
• Project management experience is a plus.
