Work Schedule:
100 FTE%, Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm, no weekends or holidays. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will work at the East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to:

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), RNs, medical assistants, and schedulers to deliver high-quality care for patients requiring post-operative, complex wound management and gastrointestinal motility procedures.
• Provide hands-on clinical care and dressing management for complex wounds, including wound VAC, and assist in the OR with GI motility procedures (e.g. manometry, pH testing).
• Monitor patient response during and after procedures to ensure safety and optimal outcomes.
• Perform pre-visit planning and preparation for procedures, comprehensive patient assessment and triage, ongoing clinical evaluation, documentation and procedure image editing.
• Provide education to ensure patients are prepared for testing, post-procedure care, and have appropriate follow-up care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of school of nursing Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
  
  

Work Experience

• 6 months of RN experience Required
• Relevant RN experience Preferred
  
  

Licenses & Certifications

• Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required
• CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire Required
• Applicable clinical certification Preferred
