Mental Health Therapist- Aspen Ridge/ Fernbrook Elementary School (Maple Grove, MN)

Job Details: Aspen Ridge Elementary School - Maple Grove, MN 55311. Position Type: Full Time. Salary Range: $62,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year. Role: Mental Health Therapist - School-Based Services. Schedule 1.0 FTE, 40 hours/week with a caseload during summer vacation. 0.9 FTE, 40 hours/week during the academic year; reduced hours in the summer (20 hours/week for 8 weeks). Locations Aspen Ridge Elementary School: 18375 Arbor Ridge Parkway, Maple Grove, MN 55311 – 1.0 FTE Full‑Time, 0.5 FTE 20 hours/week. Fernbrook Elementary School: 9661 Fernbrook Ln N, Maple Grove, MN 55369 – 0.5 FTE 20 hours/week. Main Job Duties Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with children, parents, and other family members. Conduct individual therapy and, as needed, family and group therapies. Create and implement treatment plans and regularly evaluate their effectiveness. Required Qualifications Master’s Degree in the behavioral sciences. Current clinical license as a mental health professional in the State of Minnesota (LP, LPCC, LICSW, or LMFT) with no restrictions, or proof of such licensure within 60 days of employment. For unlicensed candidates: Master’s degree in behavioral sciences, prior experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families, and pursuit of a professional license (LP, LPCC, LMFT, LICSW) with supervision available. Preferred Qualifications Current and valid licensure as LICSW, LMFT, LP, or LPCC, or license‑eligible. Experience collaborating with school systems and personnel. Proven success collaborating on interdisciplinary teams. Previous experience in providing services to children, adolescents, and families.
