SAS Developer

We are actively seeking a SAS Developer to join our team for a fully remote opportunity. This role will support key data and analytics initiatives, contributing to data extraction, transformation, and reporting processes that drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:


Develop and maintain SAS code for data manipulation, reporting, and analytics.

Design and implement data extraction processes from various sources.

Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements.

Optimize existing SAS programs for performance and efficiency.

Ensure data integrity, validation, and quality throughout development.

Required Skills & Experience:


5+ years of hands-on SAS programming experience (Base SAS, SAS Macros, PROC SQL).

Strong knowledge of data manipulation and transformation in SAS.

Experience with large datasets and complex data environments.

Familiarity with healthcare, financial services, or government data (preferred).

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have:


SAS Certification (e.g., Base Programmer, Advanced Programmer).

Experience with Python, SQL, or R.

Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

BI/Reporting tools like Tableau or Power BI.
