CT/XRAY Technologist

Envision Imaging is looking for a full-time CT/X-Ray Technologist to join our team! Monday - Friday / 40 hours | Position Pay Range $35.35 - $45.57 This role will support our newest center in Coppell , opening in January 2027 Summary/Objective The CT/X-Ray Technologist performs various types of diagnostic X-Ray procedures and CT examinations. Adjusts equipment settings, determines proper voltage and exposure and positions patient. Performs specific procedures utilizing ionizing radiation and cross-sectional anatomical scans using proper technical factors and computer programs to provide image and numerical values of tissue density. Assists in assigned examination utilizing contrast media and/or specific tomographic examinations. Essential Functions Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image. Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent. Screens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc. Obtains prior films/exams as needed and performs high quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation. Performs exams while attending to patient’s care before, during and following exam and notifies the appropriate party if patient’s condition changes at any time. Transfers images to other locations as needed. Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist. Maintains and regularly inspects equipment and immediately reports any quality concerns as well as equipment failures or deficiencies. Interfaces with Lead Technologist & Center/Area Manager regarding any and all departmental concerns. Other duties as assigned. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Travel No travel is expected for this position. Job Qualifications Minimum Qualifications/Experience: Two plus years’ experience in Computed Tomography (CT) – preferred Two plus years’ experience in X-Ray- preferred Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation Education/Certifications Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification Registry in Computed Tomography (CT) Registry in Radiography (R) Current license from state medical board (if applicable) Current CPR certification Additional Eligibility Qualifications None required for this position.
