What You Bring:
- Experience or training as a paraprofessional, particularly within school settings
- Strong communication skills, with a compassionate and patient approach
- Ability to effectively assist students with varying needs, including those requiring additional support
- A collaborative and flexible attitude, comfortable working alongside educators, therapists, and families
- Reliable, punctual, and organized, with a commitment to student confidentiality and wellbeing
- Ability to adapt quickly and problem-solve in a dynamic environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional, behavioral, and social support to students under teacher supervision
- Assist in organizing instructional material and classroom activities
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom climate
- Support teacher-led lesson delivery and assist with group or individual student activities
- Help implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals for students who require accommodations
- Supervise students in classroom and non-classroom settings as needed
