Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join their team. The primary responsibilities for this role include rooming patients, managing medication refills, handling order management, EMR documentation, and providing general clinical support.

• Rooming patients and taking vital signs.

• Performing EKGs.

• Processing medication refills and order management.

• Maintaining EMR documentation and workflow.

• Providing general clinical support.

Schedule:

Full-time, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Split between two offices:

• Boynton Beach: 3 days - Monday - Wednesday
• Royal Palm Beach/ Wellington: 2 days - Thursday & Friday

Pay : $20.00 - $23.00/hr

• MA Certification through a Nationally accredited Organization

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification via AHA.

• Strong primary care experience is preferred.

• 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant.

• Technical and EMR documentation skills.

• Excellent communication and clinical support skills.

• Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).

• 401k (Eligible on the first 401k open enrollment date following 6 consecutive months on assignment. 401k Open Enrollment dates are 1/1, 4/1, 7/1, and 10/1).
