Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced XRay Tech to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols. The candidate will support radiology and cardiology departments, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate imaging results.

Responsibilities:

• Operate X-ray and radiology equipment to produce diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders.
• Verify patient information and explain procedures to ensure patient understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Adhere to infection control and safety policies, including radiation safety protocols.
• Document imaging procedures accurately in patients' medical records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT (R) certification required, with strict adherence to certification standards.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical X-ray or radiology experience.
• Ability to operate radiology equipment with precision and attention to safety.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, positioning, and radiation safety procedures.
• Certification in BLS required; additional certifications preferred.
• Must meet ongoing credentialing and vaccination requirements, including vaccination status documentation.
