Quantitative Strategist

Quantitative Strategist Location: Merrillville, IN. Conduct quantitative analysis of holdings, strategies, and investment philosophy across the firm. Meet with advisor groups and portfolio management team members to review portfolio performance, strategy alignment, and provide additive recommendations. Translate complex quantitative findings into clear actions tailored to advisor needs and client goals. Identify and elevate concerns to the Sr Director of Portfolio Management to drive continuous improvement. Train and mentor new portfolio management team members on the firm’s investment approach and internal tools. Deliver timely, accurate updates on Waverly’s investment strategies to internal stakeholders, support advisor meetings and client‑facing communications. Act as primary point of contact for portfolio management team members seeking clarity on firm‑wide investment approaches. Collaborate with internal investment, research, and planning teams to ensure consistent and coordinated messaging. Facilitate adoption of firm‑wide investment options by connecting advisors with internal resources. Create internal quantitative analysis reports to support advisor growth and business development. Represent the portfolio management team on internal committees and cross‑functional projects as needed. Requirements Master’s degree in finance, economics, or related field. Minimum two years of experience as a financial analyst conducting economic analysis using financial analysis software such as Morningstar, FactSet, and Statista. Experience managing client portfolios and formulating plans for tax, retirement, and estate planning based on client information. Partial remote work permitted in the Greater Chicago MSA. Background checks (criminal, education, employment verification) required. Compensation & Benefits Salary: $93,933 to $105,705.60. Health, dental, and vision insurance. 401(k).
