Schedule: 36 Hours/Week + ON-CALL
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:15 AM
Position Overview Protouch Staffing is seeking an experienced Radiology Technician for a hospital-based contract assignment in Houston, Texas. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled technologist who thrives in a fast-paced acute care environment and is comfortable supporting emergency, inpatient, and surgical imaging services.
Responsibilities- Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures
- Conduct imaging exams in the Emergency Department
- Perform portable x-rays for inpatient units
- Assist physicians during fluoroscopic and invasive radiology procedures
- Support surgical procedures using C-arm imaging equipment
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during exams
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, radiation safety standards, and departmental protocols
- Accurately document procedures and patient information
- Minimum 2+ years of current Radiology Technician experience
- Strong experience in hospital-based radiology services
- Experience with portable imaging and C-arm procedures preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- On-call and callback availability required

- Willing to complete the on-boarding/credentialing process which includes a few of the following:
- Titers (MMR, Varicella, HepB)
- TDAP, TB Skin Test or Chest x-ray
- Highest level Education Transcripts
- Pass Criminal Background and Drug Screening
- Complete Competency testing.
