OverviewProduct Owner for Wholesale/MGA Company role at Novatae Risk Group. This is a remote position. The Product Owner is responsible for system configuration and administration, continuous improvement of workflows and deliverables, and ongoing training materials with the goal of maximizing effectiveness and efficiency. This role will take an end-to-end approach ensuring all key stakeholders are engaged in process decisions to avoid adverse impacts on any team(s). Continuous improvement objectives include simplify, standardize, eliminate, combine, automate, relocate, and measure tasks as identified in the company's operating model.Colleague EngagementCollaboration with key stakeholders including IT, Data Governance/Business Intelligence, Marketing, TrainingEngagement of subject matter experts across Divisions and Product Specialists to inform continuous improvement opportunitiesProcess DesignContinuous improvement of workflows and standard operating procedures driving effectiveness and efficiencyDevelopment of consistent Novatae branded agent and carrier deliverables tailored to business needsMaximization of current technology tools within our processesIdentification of additional technology to drive greater efficienciesCollaboration with IT on security assessment and costSupport COO and key stakeholders to assess ROIEmbed key measurements within processes as identified by key stakeholders and in collaboration with Data GovernanceSystem configuration as required and management of User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Training Strategy SupportDevelopment and maintenance of process maps across the value chain representing roles & responsibilities, templates, compliance requirements, key data elements, and key activities to support measurementsDevelopment of quick reference guides intended to simplify more complex processesSupport training team in the development and delivery of training materials aligned to process maps (e.g., hands-on, virtual, video, standard operating procedures)Project ManagementMaintain a complete view of current and future projectsPosition Specific Skills/QualificationsWork Experience5 - 10 years of experience with a Wholesale Insurance Brokerage or MGAComputer Skills/Software SkillsAdvanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)Dyad ALIS agency management system experience preferredEssential Skills/CompetenciesCritical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multi-task and work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced results-oriented environmentWell organized and detail oriented; ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlinesOrganized self-starter attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a teamProven experience in a Product Owner roleStrong knowledge of workflow optimization, process improvement, and technology integrationExcellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple prioritiesStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levelsPhysical Demands & Working ConditionsOffice work: Office work involves working at a desk most of the time, using a stand-up/sit-down adjustable desk.
