The Financial Planning and Analysis Leader is responsible for directing all planning, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reporting functions of the Division. This includes the creation and monitoring of cashflow forecasts for large projects, analyzing backlog, studying and interpreting financial and statistical data, and financial management of large integration projects. The position is responsible for leading the continuous improvement of forecasting and reporting systems to best support the Division in achieving their goals, projecting financial needs, and planning and recommending courses of action to accomplish desired results and implement strategic financial actions.
This position reports directly to the Director of Finance, with a strong working relationship with the General Managers of the Division.

This position reports directly to the Director of Finance, with a strong working relationship with the General Managers of the Divisions.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Support Division Finance, Project Management, and Operations by preparing analyses and improving tools used to monitor project performance, product line profitability, capacity, and utilization.
  
• Assist with preparation of the annual budget and periodic financial forecasts by gathering data, updating models, and coordinating inputs from business partners.
  
• Participate in the month-end close process, including preparing reconciliations, reviewing order information for appropriate revenue recognition treatment in accordance with ASC 606 guidelines, and generating financial reports.
  
• Prepare and maintain recurring reporting for key business metrics and KPIs, investigating significant variances as needed.
  
• Use Business Unit and Corporate reporting tools consistently to provide financial insights that support operating and financial objectives.
  
• Collect, analyze, and report key financial data, including comparisons of actual results to budgets and forecasts.
  
• Assist in maintaining and improving budgeting, forecasting, and reporting models and processes.
  
• Support the Director of Finance and other finance team members in preparing financial analyses and materials that strengthen financial understanding across the operating divisions.
  
• Help maintain financial systems and reporting tools, perform data validation, and troubleshoot routine data or reporting issues to support accuracy and consistency.
  
• Provide analysis and reporting that supports the Group's strategic growth, financial stability, and execution of business plans.
  
• Prepare financial performance analyses for management, highlighting trends and variances against key metrics, budgets, forecasts, and growth targets.
  
• Other ad hoc requirements to support activities across the business unit.
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS degree in accounting or finance (applicable master's degree, CPA, and/or MBA a plus).
  
• 2 to 4 years' experience in financial analysis, ideally in a manufacturing or integration environment.
  
  
• Intercompany, foreign currency, and percentage of completion revenue recognition experience is a plus
  
• Strong Excel skills including data extraction and analysis skills.
  
• Excellent financial, analytical and management reporting skills.
  
• Business acumen to work and communicate with all levels of the organization.
  
• Strategic thinking to drive future growth and to prioritize areas of opportunity.
  
• High ethical standards.
  
• Willingness to roll your sleeves up to get things done with a sense of customer service.
  
• Ability to influence and manage business changes.
  
• Travel is expected to be 10% of the time.
