Day Shift LPN/RN Staff Nurse Location: Walworth County Jail, Elkhorn, WI. Contract Type: Full Time. Schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Rotating schedule including every other weekend. Develop and deliver patient centered nursing care in a correctional healthcare setting. Deliver compassionate, patient centered nursing care. Administer medications and treatments as ordered. Complete nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions. Respond to medical concerns and emergencies with confidence and professionalism. Maintain accurate electronic medical documentation. Collaborate with healthcare providers and correctional staff to ensure safe, quality patient care. Promote continuity of care while maintaining compliance with clinical standards and policies. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Wisconsin. Current CPR certification. Strong communication and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently while prioritizing patient needs.
