Qualifications & Required Experience:

• Valid Montana Special Educator Certification
• Proven experience or a strong interest in working with K-12 students
• Familiarity with developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• Commitment to professional growth and ongoing learning

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and adapt instructional materials and lesson plans to meet the needs of students with diverse abilities
• Manage and implement IEPs in collaboration with students, families, and related service staff
• Provide direct instruction across a range of grade levels and settings, as designated in the caseload
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed for success
• Engage in positive communication with parents, colleagues, and support teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal special education regulations

This assignment starts August 18, 2026, and continues through May 28, 2027.
