As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor and badge access, and supporting site procedures. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and use technology to document access activity. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
  Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
  Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. This includes the ability to navigate software applications, manage emails, and utilize online resources effectively.

• Customer Service Experience (B219)
  Candidates should possess a background in customer service. This includes experience in handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing support in a professional manner.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access points at a manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized personnel and deliveries according to site requirements.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, unusual activity, and potential site concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
