Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Our client, a leading aerospace and technology organization, is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join their team. As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will be part of the Strategic Sourcing and Supply Chain organization supporting cross-functional Aerospace teams and supplier partners. The ideal candidate will have strong strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and strong negotiation abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:  Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Location: Phoenix AZ  (Hybrid – 3+ days per week in office)

Pay Range: $60 - $85/hour

What’s the Job?

• Develop and maintain executive-level supplier relationships for suppliers with significant annual spend.
• Drive direct material productivity through cost savings initiatives and working capital optimization.
• Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans while leading cross-functional Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
• Implement sourcing strategies, promote continuous improvement initiatives, and mentor team members.

What’s Needed?

• 9+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management or Sourcing/Procurement.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
