Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical laboratory analyses in fields like chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond, adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot inaccuracies, and undertake preventative maintenance along with calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all procedures, train new staff or students, and support laboratory quality assurance standards.
• Uphold a clean, secure work environment while ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health discipline, plus readiness for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within the first year of employment.
• Certification must be maintained throughout your employment.
