We serve as a regional referral center including a trauma center and comprehensive stroke center. The Emergency Department is a busy unit with a specific focus on patient experience. Patient ratios typically are 4:1 for medical cases and up to 7:1 for specific behavioral holds. There are techs available for help, and unit clerks are present during days and nights to assist with operations. The unit is equipped with advanced medical technology and utilizes an electronic documentation system. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and patient care.
