Work you’ll doAs a Manager on the Modeling and Insights team, you will be responsible for:Lead a team of dedicated financial modelers as you develop tools and insights to answer clients most critical financial questions including capital raising, transaction structuring & execution, portfolio management and strategic planningCoordinate with a wide range of subject matter experts within Deloitte, including tax, valuation, accounting, consulting, regulatory, and business experts to deliver timely and actionable insights to clientsActively participate in business development, sales and marketing of our services including internal & external marketing, industry eminence, pipeline development, proposal development and engagement budgetingDevelop and grow both your internal and external network to generate sales opportunitiesAssist clients in structuring renewable energy transactions, including tax equity, debt sizing, and sponsor capitalAnalyze key drivers of renewable energy project economics, perform scenario analysis, and develop solutions to maximize client interestsProvide end-to-end agile solutions for clients throughout their entire investment lifecycleLeverage a technical and commercial skillset to analyze, interpret, and communicate actionable outcomes from financial models, providing advice and support throughout engagementsCoach junior practitioners in their professional growth both throughout engagements through touchpoints and snapshots and through the development and delivery of training programsA successful candidate would possess these skills:Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to provide clear guidance to othersThe team Our Valuation & Modeling team provides financial modeling for business planning, transactions, and operational improvements. We conduct valuation for tax purposes, regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), litigation, bankruptcy, and risk management. Additionally, we support audit processes with fair value measurements.Qualifications Required:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or another business-related major5+ years of experience working for a consulting firm or equivalent industry experience, specifically in financial modeling, strategic planning, managing client relationships, and delivering client service work that exceeds expectations3+ years of financial modeling experienceExperience in project finance modeling, particularly in solar, battery energy storage systems, wind, and other forms of renewable energyExperience in participating in the sales process, including responding to requests for proposals and delivering oral presentationsExperience developing executive presentations and quantitative analyses using Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel Proven ability to manage project budgets and mitigate potential project risksExperience using artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled tools and digital technologies to improve efficiency, support analysis, and enhance the quality of work productsAbility to travel up to 30% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveLimited sponsorship may be available Preferred:CPA, CFA, or other equivalent designationExperience in Power BI, Tableau, VBA, Python, SQL, or similar tools to build finance-led models and analyticsThe wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
