CT Scan/ PRN/Registry/ Shifts Vary

Performs a variety of imaging procedures under the clinical direction of a Radiologist, Cardiologist or Surgeon.

Education and Credentials Required:

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology (RT) program. Current ARRT registration. Competent in any three of the following modalities: Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Mammography (M), Quality Management (QM), Cardiac/Interventional Radiography (CI), Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI), Radiography (R) and Supervision.

CT: Obtain ARRT-CT certification within 18 months of employment date.

If assigned, the employee must maintain a competency with our Point of Care testing (POCT) device (StatSensor) with initial training completed within three months of employment date. Assigned staff is required to show annual competency for POCT equipment (StatSensor) to include HealthStream Education and Checklist review with POCT Coordinator.

BCLS certification. If the BCLS certification is not from the American Heart Association (AHA), an AHA certification is required within one month of employment date.

Preferred:

Graduate of MRI or CT program and/or meets requirements for MRI or CT registry.

Work Experience:

Three years experience.
