Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Rapid Response)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 8-Week Assignment | 36 Hours Per Week Guaranteed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit serving an adult patient population with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Perform continuous fetal monitoring and assessment, including interpretation and emergency response to fetal distress
• Manage and support patients experiencing conditions such as normal spontaneous labor, preterm labor, gestational hypertension, preeclampsia, placenta previa, placental abruption, umbilical cord prolapse, and postpartum hemorrhage
• Float to Postpartum unit as needed to support patient care continuity
• Document patient care accurately using Centricity and Meditech electronic health record systems
• Respond rapidly and effectively to obstetric emergencies, demonstrating strong time management and clinical decision-making

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Current ACLS or ALS-OB certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Centricity and/or Meditech EHR platforms
• Demonstrated ability to float to Postpartum and adapt quickly to varying unit needs
• Strong interpersonal qualities including adaptability, empathy, attention to detail, and effective team communication
