Winterwood, Inc. is seeking a motivated Lease Cancellations Corporate Intern to join our Accounting team. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience working closely with accounting professionals in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Job Type: Temporary
Schedule: Part-Time | Flexible, within Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Hourly Rate: $17.00 per hour
What You’ll Do
- Assist with day-to-day operations and administrative tasks in the accounting department.
- Support team projects through research, data entry, and analysis. This position is heavily focused on supporting the Lease Cancellations Specialist with move out packets and transfers.
- Assist with leasing and rents duties relating to accounts statement, balances and refunds.
- Assists with keeping accounts current with NCS following the states necessary guidelines.
- Verifies all Final Account Statement have required documentation and submits to Lease Cancellations Specialist for final approval.
- Responsible for tracking, labeling, redacting and logging all checks in the drive.
- Assist in new implementation of processes regarding Lease Cancellations.
- Strong attention to detail when dealing tenants, move out packets, balances and refunds.
- Learn and use company tools, systems and processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
