Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience preferred License: State or Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Travel experience preferred - Charting system experience required Description: This position requires working three 12-hour night shifts. Preferred candidates will have two years of experience, particularly in a travel role. Certifications in ACLS and BLS are required. The unit's patient ratios are 1:6. Common patient diagnoses include UTI, pneumonia, respiratory failure/COPD, sepsis, AKI, chest pain, cellulitis, and altered mental status. Candidates must have skills in interpreting dysrhythmias, managing cardiac drips without titration, and non-invasive airway management. Patients are primarily adults and geriatrics. There will be interdisciplinary support from physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, and pharmacy. No specialty procedures or special equipment are used in this unit. Compliance with onboarding requirements within 48 hours of contract signing is necessary. All registered time off must be listed at the time of submission. Previous employees must wait one year before returning for travel positions.
