Case Mix: Obstetrics, Gynecology, GYN surgery, C-section assists, ER consults

FACILITY INFORMATION

Specialty Backup Available: Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Gyn Oncology

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Delivery attendance
OB triage
Patient evaluation/management
Surgical assists (C-section assists)
Fetal monitoring
ER coverage for OB/GYN

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board Certified in OB/GYN (Required)
Licenses: Active CA license (Required)
DEA: Active CA DEA (Required)
Experience: Minimum 1 year clinical experience (Required)
Other Qualifications: Completed prescreen questionnaire; CV in MM/YYYY format with gaps explained; NPDB self-query report within month of submission; ongoing availability (minimum 3 shifts per month); rates follow rate structure

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide delivery attendance and manage obstetric triage.
Evaluate and manage unassigned OB/GYN patients, including admissions and floor consults.
Perform surgical assists, including C-section assists, for community physicians.
Respond to emergencies (fetal decelerations, precipitous deliveries, postpartum hemorrhage) when notified by nursing staff.
Provide ER coverage for OB/GYN consults.
