Sales Consultant

Position OverviewThe Sales Consultant position is responsible for selling the company’s products and services to existing and new Fleet Accounts by developing relationships between International, our Dealer Distribution Network and Fleet customers.This person will need to execute the organization’s sales plan in order to grow businesses and margins by developing and implementing sales strategies and tactics, as well as developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts. The position requires the development of local sales plan execution and collaborative dialogue with our Product Team and Dealers.ResponsibilitiesStrong business acumen required to solve complex issues and problemsUsing experience and background to identify creative solutions to advance profitable salesExercises judgment in selecting best methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining resultsInterprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practicesAbility to execute highly complex and specialized projects and will need to adapt to precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutionsIs recognized as a market expert in own area within own discipline/function within the organization. Strong communicator, clear, persuasive and attentive listenerServes as a resource for best practices/quality on functional teams or projectsWorks independently, with guidance in only the most complex situationsLead, train and develop (Dealer) outside sales teams to grow business with existing and new accountsDetermines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of additional personnel, lead functional teams or projects, and serve as a best practice/quality resourceNavigate internal processes and cross-functional requirements to ensure timely and successful activation of customer bid awards.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree and at least 2 years of sales experienceORMaster's degree and at least 1 year of sales experienceORAt least 5 years of sales experienceAdditional RequirementsQualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
