Sonsoft Inc. is growing at a steady pace specializing in the fields of Software Development, => Software Consultancy and Information Technology Enabled Services.Job DescriptionAt least 4 years of experience with DW/BI and related tools, understanding of ETL and ELT conceptsAt least 3 years of hands on experience in Design, Development & Build activities in IBM Datastage(v8.5 and above) ETL Projects and other tools on Information Server stack like QualityStage, Information Ananlyzer, Information Services DirectorAt least 3 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on DW/BI development and maintenance projectsAt least 2 years of experience in using TeraData and source and/or target for data loads.Knowledge of IBM Datastage Architecture, Stages/Transformations, Design, ETL flow, advanced SQLs Develop Datastage Parallel Extender jobs using different stages like Aggregator, Join, Merge, Lookup, Source dataset, External Filter, Row generator, Column Generator, Change Capture, Copy, Funnel, Short, Peek stages etcKnowledge Best Practices in Datastage, Performance improvements, implementing CDC, UDFs Understanding of Unix/Linux system, file systems, shell scriptingGood knowledge on MF file structures along with RDBMS incl. Oracle and TeraDataExperience in using DataStage for extracting data from and loading data to Hadoop ClusterExperience in Strategizing, planning and implementing Major and point upgrades for DataStageExperience in DataStage grid deployment and configuration.Provides expertise in determining the strategic technical direction and system architecture for initiatives.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
